WelcomeFest is Hull University Union’s official festival of welcome for everyone studying at the University of Hull.
If you’ve been to the likes of V, Glastonbury, Bestival, or Leeds, you’ll understand the comparisons to WelcomeFest. We have thousands of people from all over the country, of all ages, with every different kind of music taste, fashion sense and personalities, meeting in one place with one thing in mind: to kick-start their academic year with a bang, meet new people and have fun!
So welcome to your new city, campus and student life! Come and meet new friends through our exciting Give It A Go activities, nights out, and established Fairs. From our big welcome party to roller discos, days out, quizzes and karaoke to our massive Welcomefest fair there’s something for everyone. Throughout the year we will help you create new connections through shared interests – our societies, sports, culture and liberation groups.
