As we head forwards into Spring so too does the work on our brand new on-campus Sports facility.  The internal blockwork to the changing rooms has now begun, which includes a separate accessible room on the ground floor for disabled Sports Centre users and athletes.  Secondary steelwork has been undertaken along with metal stud walls to the perimeter of the building.

All of the images below were taken on 12 March:

Surface and foul drainage has been installed along with insulation, and internal stud partitions are going up on the first floor.  Hopefully painting will soon start on the steelwork! Much of the work is now centred around tanking protection, insulation and membrane to the roof, installation of curtain walling and internal blockwork. The Contractors also plan to install an attenuation tank (to collect all of the roof and surface water on-site and prevent flooding) this week.
