If you need advice, condoms, or worried you might have contracted STI you can now get help on campus.

From Wednesday 02 November, sexual health specialists, Yorkshire MESMAC, will be offering a variety of sexual health services. This will include advice, free condoms and sexual health screenings for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea. The testing for this is very straightforward and involves a self-urine sample for males, or a self-swab for females. MESMAC will also offer screenings for HIV and Syphilis, which is a finger prick test and results take just 1 minute.

To access any of the above services go to the AskHU desk, within the Student Union building, between 1pm and 4.30pm on Wednesdays and ask for MESMAC. You will then be advised of when you will be seen that afternoon. For more information on Yorkshire MESMAC visit their website, http://www.mesmac.co.uk/
