2017 marks 50 years since homosexuality was decriminalised in the UK and as well as the UK City of Culture, Hull has also been chosen as the location for the first ever UK Pride.

Kicking things off with the annual parade from Hull College to Queens Gardens on Saturday 22 July, there’ll be over a week of events and celebrations around the city and at the University of Hull itself.


In support of the celebrations The University of Hull in partnership with Hull University Union are offering single rooms in The Courtyard, our brand new accommodation building, for just £40 per night between 20 July – 29 July 2017.
