We always think that more choice for our students can only be a good thing, and when it comes to accommodation we’re really keen that you can have lots of choice of really high quality places to live. That’s why we’ve partnered up with Kexgill to create Hull’s very own University Quarter, starting with Cranbrook Avenue.
Over 100 of the houses on the avenue have been renovated to an extremely high standard with around three quarters of the rooms having en-suite bathrooms, and all properties coming as standard with high speed internet access and American style fridge freezers.
They also include sober houses for students who prefer to concentrate on their studies rather than spend their time partying, as well as 24hr staff support, CCTV and regular security patrols. There are even staff to look after the bins!
Kexgill also own two halls of residence in the University Quarter, Cranbrook Court and The Trees, with around 350 bedrooms between them.
So if you’re already planning ahead for where you might want to live next year, it might be worth giving the University Quarter a closer look. You could be living in a beautifully refurbished house with like minded people and all within a few minutes walk of your lectures!
