We’re super excited about the British Science Festival next weekend, and extra doubly so because lots of the events are taking place right here on our very own campus!

The four day event is one of Europe’s longest established science festivals, and is a flagship event as part of Hull’s City of Culture legacy.

There are far too many events for us to go through here, but some of the ones we’re particularly looking forward to are Nucleosynthesis and Lego which is all about how Lego is being used to study the formation of the stars, Robot Petting Zoo which pretty much does what it says on the tin and Unlocking the Secrets of the Canine Mind, which comes with a warning that the event will include cute dogs.

You can find out more about the festival at britishsciencefestival.org, and they have a handy calendar of events too.
