Did you know students can join the staff Netball team at the University of Hull?

As a friendly, fun, and social netball team, we welcome new players to join our weekly session on Wednesday evenings from 6-7pm at Newland School for Girls. The team is a mix of staff and students from the University as well as members of the public. While we might have different abilities, fitness levels and ages, we are united by our desire to get fit whilst having a good giggle with friends on a netball court. We get together each week to learn new skills, get some exercise and socialise!

No experience is needed to join us, in fact, most of our players have only played at school and decided to give it another go. It’s perfect if you want to get a little active but aren’t sure where to start! Come along as often as you can, even if it is once every few weeks.

However, for the more competitive player, we also play in the Hull Work League where we play other teams from around Hull. It offers you the chance to challenge yourself as you progress, and it is a great way to test out what you have learned in training. The matches cost £20 per 6 months to play, but training is free to attend.
